Cerubo is a renowned Japanese furniture brand and manufacturer, especially well-known for its expertise in wooden furniture. With its headquarters and senior management team based in Japan, Cerubo has also invested in and operates production facilities in Thu Dau Mot, Binh Duong. The brand has built its reputation on design excellence and strict production standards, consistently delivering high-end Japanese furniture collections that are both premium in quality and aligned with global interior trends.
About the Project
In 2024, Cerubo introduced a new family furniture collection, designed by Ms. Takashima—Cerubo’s Art Director and the designer behind this product line. She envisioned the photo collection as a way to express how the furniture harmonizes with living spaces, creating a modern and elegant lifestyle setting. For this reason, the home concept was chosen as the most optimal direction for the shoot.
Implementation
To execute this project, Ms. Takashima first developed the artistic concept, emphasizing a style that blends modern aesthetics with subtle Japanese spirit. With her deep understanding of the products, she curated the ideal props to highlight the lifestyle essence of the furniture.
Following this, she flew to Vietnam to work directly with the Helius Media team—collaborating in discussions, planning, and pre-production to ensure every detail was carefully prepared.
Throughout the shoot, both teams worked closely together. Each frame was meticulously staged, focusing on how the products interacted with the living space. As a result, the final images not only captured visual beauty but also reflected the brand’s essence, presenting Cerubo’s furniture in a modern and harmonious lifestyle context.
Conclusion
The direct involvement of Ms. Takashima, together with Cerubo’s open and collaborative spirit, laid the foundation for a highly effective and enriching project. Beyond meeting the rigorous standards of Japanese design and aesthetics, the process also gave Helius Media the opportunity to exchange ideas and embrace new perspectives on creativity and international approaches.
